Currently, there is an acute shortage of indoor ice arenas in the Russian Federation. The article is devoted to the construction of a multifunctional ice arena in the city of Yekaterinburg. The prospects for the development of the ice arena from the point of view of the multifunctionality and versatility of the building are described, design features and technical characteristics are given. Plans for the improvement of the embankment of the Iset River in the adjacent territory are presented.
