This article talks about the relevance of the development of the institution of bankruptcy of individuals. The author of this study cites the opinions of scientists on the importance of legal regulation of bankruptcy. Bankruptcy of individuals is a young branch of law that plays an important role in the overall social and economic development of the state. The article discusses the federal regulatory acts regulating relations in the field of bankruptcy, as well as provides examples from the practice of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, explaining the position of the supreme judicial authorities regarding the bankruptcy procedure of individuals.
