In this article, the definition of a contract is given, its connection with various branches of law. The legal regulation of relations arising as a result of the conclusion of a contract is analyzed. The main types of the contract are revealed, the subject structure of this contract is analyzed. The author of this study indicates the essential conditions and main features of the contract. When writing this work, normative acts in the field of civil law were analyzed, as well as the works of leading scientists in the field of civil law.
