The article presents methodological recommendations for organizing laboratory classes in botany within the discipline “Botany and Plant Physiology” implemented at the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education of the Ural State Agrarian University for students of the direction 35.02.05 Agronomy. By performing laboratory work in botany, students become familiar with the structure of plant cells, tissues, plant organs, morphology and taxonomy of plants, which allows them to gain new knowledge, skills and abilities ensuring a high level of learning and necessary for studying subsequent disciplines.
