This scientific article examines the concept, essence and significance of digital transformation in the agricultural sector. The features of technological infrastructure development and the use of large databases, which lead to the expansion of Internet access for millions of consumers and the integration of a wide range of digital agricultural services and systems into a single digital platform. According to experts, the process of digital transformation is comparable to the industrial revolution of the XVIII century, which radically changed the world. The digital economy is focused not only on creating the necessary conditions for the emergence of breakthrough technologies, but also on innovations in the organization of agribusiness, trade and logistics.
