Agriculture is directly related to the use of natural resources. Land is used as the main means of agricultural production. Agricultural livestock cannot exist without water. An important resource for agriculture is forest vegetation (beekeeping and other agricultural activities). The preservation of the natural environment has a beneficial effect on the biodiversity of flora and fauna, environmental safety, and the quality of life of the population. Practice shows that agriculture in case of non-compliance with environmental requirements, rules and regulations can have a negative impact on the natural environment, which affects the conservation of natural resources. In this regard, the importance is given to the greening of agricultural activities and the formation of an ecological worldview among workers of agricultural organizations. The economic activity of rural residents (personal subsidiary farms, etc.) is also environmentally significant. Currently, Russian agriculture is developing on the basis of development of new knowledge, introduction of scientific developments and technologies in agricultural production. It is important that scientific developments are aimed not only at improving the economic efficiency of agricultural activities and ensuring food security, but also to ensure environmental safety in the sphere of AG-industrial complex.
